I have been trying to come up with some silly or quirky post for the weekend, but truth be told, I am at a loss…
I don’t feel silly or goofy or even remotely quirky at the moment.
Instead, I am somber.
This is a holy week.
We held our first ever REAL traditional Seder on Thursday, to mark the Last Supper and it was the beginning of what is the most somber of days, until the celebration on Sunday… the resurrection!
Russ took off so that we can spend each day together as a family and celebrate all that we have gained through Jesus’ sacrifice.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:3-10
* I will be taking a day or two off from reading blogs, but promise to get caught up after the holiday.
Many blessings to you & yours!
