Flash-back December 14, 2007

I’ve been feeling a bit off these past few weeks,
poopy, if you will.
So, I thought maybe looking back through my archives to a time when life was a bit simpler {read: kids were younger}, life was less complicated {read: pre-infidelity} and our home life was stable {read: pre-homelessness} might cheer me up a little…
And, while it didn’t really work for more than a few minutes, it did manage to take my mind off of my stinky, miserable mood that has crept in and won’t leave. ugh

Because, yes, 4 years ago on this exact day, things were simpler and happy and filled with love and family and the holiday spirit….

Today we went over to Memom & Poppop’s house to have dinner with the whole family and to spend time with Nana, who came up to visit from Georgia. Sadly, Nana was only able to come up for 3 days, so we tried to pack all of our holiday time into a few short hours.

Big on love 🙂 ,
short on time 🙁 …..
Nana was thrilled to see the babies and amazed at how much they have changed. She really enjoyed watching Emma bounce across the room ala Tigger.
Somehow, Nana also ended up opening her wallet and handing out dollar bills to all of the kids. Ha ha somehow……
Uncle Jason even tried to get in on the “action” and lined up too. But, Nana wasn’t fooled by Jason on his knees and just laughed at him. haha
We all enjoyed good conversation, holiday cookies and a delicious pork roast. YUM-O!

awwwww, I love seeing my Grandma…I cram in as much time as I can get with her when we are there.
