lifting the icky mood by just loving the moments

by debi9kids on January 24, 2012

There is something I just love about bath time with my babies and as my final babies are hitting the age where they won’t be bathing together anymore, it makes me feel a bit nostalgic and sad that moments like this won’t be enjoyed in my home again until {gasp} I’m a grandmother…

Then: This is Will sleeping through his first real bath at 12 days old
and my 2 year old Big Boy in the sink!

Then: Here is Emma doing the same, sleeping in the tub at 12 days old.

and my 2 year old Silly girl in the sink!

Those moments aren’t completely lost.
Yet.
And I’m trying to make sure that I savor and remember every moment for as long as I can.

How can this not lift my mood and sing to my soul?!?
Simply put, it does 🙂

Awwwww…I love these pictures. Such pure joy and silliness on their faces!! I will never understand how babies can sleep through baths, but goodness it's adorable.

I love those pictures. Love them. Love them. Love them. When I'm having a terrible day with my girl (like Monday, thank you for your kinds words, they've really stuck with me), I sometimes get in the bath with her at the end of the day and for those 20 minutes or so, everything is perfect.

I am just in complete awe that you had two of them sleep through those early baths. What the heck!

They're adorable kids, Debi, and so fun that you're capturing the water play!
