It’s party time!
Over at 5 Minutes for Mom.
And, while I haven’t always been the best about visiting their blog on a daily basis anymore, the thing is, if I trace back my “blogging roots”, it was 5 Minutes for Mom and SITS where I really figured it all out.
And, by it, I mean figured out that I wasn’t the only person who existed in the blogging world
As silly as it seems, way back when I started in 2006, I really had NO clue that anyone was “out there” and the first time someone other than a friend left a comment on my blog I was shocked.
But, here I am and they are, 6 years later ( SIX YEARS PEOPLE!) still blogging.

And, since it’s a party, what’s a party without something yummy to drink???I made this absolutely delicious sangria tonite because, well, let’s face it, sometimes mama needs a “special” drink. (and, if you’re wondering, I found the recipe on Pinterest, of course. You know, because I am a.d.d.i.c.t.e.d.)

I’m debi, otherwise known as debi9kids.
You know, because 8 wasn’t enough, so we had 9
I write about our normal life, or as normal as it can be with autism, the after effects of infidelity, our faith and pretty much everything in between.
Lately, for the most part, I’ve been writing about our youngest son Will, who happens to be one of our twins, and  accepting his diagnosis of autism and beyond.
He is my world and while it took me a long while to truly be “ok” with his diagnosis, I am there and love him for everything he brings to our family and all of the amazing things he has taught me about my faith and the gift of unanswered prayers.
Sometimes the things we think we’re most scared of turn out to be the things we most need
and it turns out, for me, that was autism.
And Will.
Or, God’s Will,
as I like to call him.
