It’s my 24th edition of Debi Says.
Where I answer the questions that you ask ![]()
Now then, to explain why I decided to do these posts instead of my Sunday Sound-Out…
well, it’s because I’m lazy, or busy, or just terribly inept at keeping up with questions that are asked of me during the week.
So, it’s just 1000 times easier to answer the questions that are either posted here in the comment section each Sunday, or the questions that are posed to me on Saturdays.
Ok, and now I’m just rambling….
… it is what I do best
1. Why are you considering no longer blogging? ~ Cindy, Married to the Military
Honestly, I am not sure my heart is in it anymore.
Sometimes I kind-of feel like everything I have needed to say has been said. Or, more often like the things that people wanted to hear, they have heard.
I try to remember back to why I started writing, which was really just to have an online “book” for my kids about their life and if that was why I still write, then it would make sense to keep going.
But through the years, my blog had evolved into something else,
A platform for surviving infidelity,
writing about my faith,
advocating for autism…
and while these are things that I still “deal” with daily, I’m just not sure if I have much more to say publicly.
2. So can you look at your feet while you’re getting this pedicure? ~ Liz, A Nut in a Nutshell
Well, I’ve only ever had a “real” pedicure twice and during those, I definitely didn’t look. Just.so.gross.
But, when Emma gives me a pedicure, I generally look to make sure she isn’t accidentally painting my entire foot. LOL
3. ((hugs)) Have you looked into possible RAD diagnosis? ~ Sharalyn
(question is in reference to my post about Mental Health)
We are actually looking at a bunch of possible diagnoses, including: RAD, bi-polar, oppositional defiant disorder, attachment disorder and post traumatic stress.
It’s going to be a long haul
And, that’s it for my answers for this week.
As you post questions, I will try to answer them.
While there are topics I don’t necessarily enjoy talking about, it doesn’t mean I won’t try to answer you honestly.
PS I have a review and give-away going on right now.
Please check it out!
you can not leave, I will not allow it. If you do, how will I ask you my million and one questions lol. Seriously though, if you do leave you better give me the wed addresses of the forums that you hand out in the most so that we can chat there lol.
We just got an official diagnosis for our Little Miss: R.A.D. and Major Depressive Disorder. You can read all about it on this week’s post: Diagnosis: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
Hope you get a diagnosis which leads to some answer for HELP.
Just so you know . . . I would sure MISS you if you stop blogging.
Laurel
Honestly my friend, the blog world will just not be the same without you.
