I honestly have so much to write about, so many things that have been spinning around inside my head but right now, I just can’t.
There is one thing and one thing only that I can talk about right now…
my brother-in-law Lance.
He is my sister Erin’s husband and a new daddy to my nephew Ryder.
And Friday afternoon he had an aneurysm and a massive brain bleed.
He is currently in ICU under heavy sedation and while he has been showing wonderful signs of improvement and reacting to sounds and touch, it was just discovered that he has another aneurysm.
He will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning.
Needless to say,
we are stunned.
It’s been less than 2 weeks since our Nana died and this has just
leveled us.
My brother-in-law is 37,
married to my gorgeous 30 year old sister,
with a 9 month old little boy.
His whole life is ahead of him.
He has so much to live for and he’s fighting hard to come back.
Please pray with me for Lance.
Wrap him in the Lord’s light.
Surround him with God’s love.
And ask God to hold my sister Erin close,
to give her the strength to face each day,
each challenge,
as they will inevitably come hard and fast.
I cherish you, my friends, and how quickly you come to join me in prayer when I need it.
Please join me now and pray.
Help me flood heaven with prayers for Lance.
Thank you.
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. ~ (Ps 37.5)
Lord, Great Physician, Healer of Hearts, Souls, and Bodies … We lift Lance and Erin to You today and ask You to heal in the ways that only You can! We ask for miracles … whether through a simple touch of YOUR hand or through the ministries of doctors and medicines. We ask that you give Lance the rest and restoration that his body needs! We beg You to restore him fully so that he can be the husband and father that Erin and Ryder need so badly! And in the meantime we ask that You would be with Erin and give her peace. Give her assurances that You are in this hard and scary place with her, that You, You understand, and You are RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT, working Your perfect will in her life and in Lance’s body! Be with Ryder, Lord, and grant him a peaceful spirit at this time while his family is stressed. Grant that he would not be fussy unless that is what Erin needs to distract her from her fears! Thank you, Lord, for the work that You are already doing!
And give Debi a big hug too, Lord God! Remind her that You have this! You love her and her precious family and You have good plans to profit and not to harm them!

Deb, I’m just seeing this as I was gone all last week. I’m SO sorry for this. I don’t know why God allowed this to happen. I’ll be praying for Lance’s healing. That the great Physician would move in a mighty way, that Lance’s health would be completely restored. Praying also that your family will be comforted!
My heart breaks for you & your entire family. I am lifting Lance up in prayer for his complete restoration and healing.
