Menu Plan Monday ~ Shaking things up a bit

School starts today!
Lord help me, but I am not ready.

So, I thought it might be a really good idea if I get back into Menu Planning as flying by the seat of my pants during a busy school week is never a good idea.

And, I came across a pretty good idea thanks to Betty Crocker and decided I would give it a try.
The idea is to take each day of the week and give it a “theme” to make the recipe ideas flow more smoothly…
we shall see if it works πŸ˜‰

(Of course, linking with Organizing Junkie , the Goddess of all things organized πŸ™‚

First Week Back to School!
And HOLY COW, football season as well!

BBQ Sunday:
seasoned chicken legs and thighs, elbow noodles in garlic butter, and salad

Mostly Meatless Monday:
Cream of Potato Soup
, side salad, crusty French bread

Taco Tuesday:
Beef and Bean Taco Casserole

What’s for Dinner Wednesday:
crock pot chicken and dumplings

Formal Thursday:
Mock Thanksgiving: Roast Chicken in gravy, Mashed Potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, corn, dinner rolls, and apple pie for dessert

Take-Out Friday:
Pizza

Breakfast for Dinner Saturday:
waffles, sausage, and fresh fruit

Chicken and dumplings sound so yummy!

And ironically…I was just thinking to myself the other day that White Chicken Chilli sounded good, even though the weather was still warm (its usually only something we make when its cool out).
