If you’re a close family friend of mine, you know that the holidays mean one thing in my home:While I love to cook, I really, really love to bake and each year, around Christmas time, I bake hundreds of cookies.
I love it,
the kids love it,
and usually all of my family members and friends love it as well because I inevitably end up giving away dozens and dozens of cookies, truffles, candies, and cakes to everyone.
It’s my thing.
And it has come to be something the kids expect as the season approaches.
Shortly after Thanksgiving, they start to place their “orders” for which family favorite we should make and
this year is no different.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt butter in microwave and combine with graham crackers3. Press graham cracker mixture into 13×9 inch pan.4. Top with coconut.5. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips.6. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.7. Top with walnuts.8. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.9. Bake on middle rack for aprox. 25 minutes (keeping an eye on the edges that they don’t get over-cooked or burned.)10. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting.And then just enjoy!
These are such a tasty and gooey delicious snack with the perfect amount of sweetness.
*I always like to cut them bite-size and package them in cute holiday tins for gifts.
