Today I took Teddy, Henry, Keith, Emma and Will to the doctors.
While the coughing and hacking was pretty much a dead give-away that they were sick, Will actually falling asleep on the table while waiting for the doctor to come in was certainly an obvious indicator.
My poor little guy has a chest cold, sinus infection, and an ear infection as well.
And he wasn’t alone.
Altogether we have 3 ear infections, 2 diagnosed with bronchitis, 3 sinus infections, one with asthma, and 5 majorly miserable kids.
It’s looking like it’s going to be a very quiet weekend at home, snuggling under covers, and watching Christmas movies while I pray the antibiotics kick in quickly.
Oh no! Hope they all feel better soon!

Thankful that you all have antibiotics for what ails you. We’ve got a nasty virus running rampant at our house. 10 year old is on Day #9, and finally feeling better. Mama is on Day #5, and got out of bed for a couple of hours this evening (to sit on the couch and watch a movie). 12 year old is on Day#1 and looks like he wished he would just die.
Sadly . . . very, very sadly . . . Mama and the boys must stay home tomorrow and will not be able to attend the funeral of their grandmother. She is the only grandmother our younger children even know. Seriously. So hard. My 94 year old Dad’s wife passed away, and we cannot be with him. Heartbreaking.

We lost my 94 year old Nana this summer and it hit us all so hard. And right now Christmas just feels so odd because she’s not here
I hope you all feel better soon. (Isn’t it “awesome” how we large families share everything? Ugh.)
Ugh, that’s such a bummer…I know, putting it mildly! I pray (literally) that everyone gets better soon and that a weekend with lots of rest and antibiotics will get everyone on to the road to recovery asap!
