I keep hearing on the news about school districts across the country that aren’t allowing any holiday celebrations to take place in public schools because “it might offend someone”.
Bah Humbug!

Well, I’m happy to say that our school district is definitely not part of that craziness and , as a matter of fact, they are magic makers.

Alex and Gabi both came home from school yesterday and told me that they were given letters written by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders in our school district in their English classes. All of the high school students were given a letter written addressed to Santa’s reindeer and their assignment… to write a letter back to the child

Gabi didn’t have a copy of the letter she wrote, but Alex had his rough draft (he wanted me to point out, before it was edited. He is SO my son   ) :It makes my heart happy, for so many reasons, but mostly because my kids truly get the spirit of the holiday.
